Today at 4:55pm Station 64 was dispatched to assist Berks 7 (Birdsboro) on a 2nd alarm Building Fire with reported entrapment. Tower 64 made the response with a crew of 5. Tower 64’s crew began with conducting searches of the first floor. After searches were completed and no victims were located, crews assisted in fire suppression and overhaul. The fire would eventually rise to 3 alarms before being placed under control. Crews operated for approximately 2.5 hours before returning to quarters.
