Engine 64-5 with a crew of 3 firefighters responded to assist Birdsboro-Union Fire Department on a brush fire. crews arrived to find a large pile of logs on fire in close proximity to a home resulting in the assignment being upgraded to a house fire. Engine 64-5 assisted with deploying a handline, fire suppression, & overhaul. Crews operated for approximately 2 hours before returning back to quarters. the cause of the fire is under investigation.
