This afternoon station 64 assisted station 62 on a reported building fire in the 1300 block of New Philadelphia Road, South Coventry Township. Engine 64-5, Engine 64-2, Rescue 64 & Assistant 64 made the response. Chief 62 arrived on scene and downgraded the incident after finding a small brush fire behind the residence. Rescue 64 & Engine 64-2 were recalled while engine 64-5 assisted with fire suppression, overhaul and supplying water to Rescue 62. Crews operated for approximately an hour before returning back to quarters.
