This evening, Station 64 along with mutual aid responded to a reported Building Fire in the 300 block of West Schuylkill Road. Chief 64, Assistant 64, Captain 64, Engine 64-5, Engine 64-2 responded at dispatch with Tower 64 responding shortly after. Captain 64 arrived on scene with a single story commercial building with nothing showing from the exterior of the building and established command. Crews worked inside and on the roof before determining that no fire was present and the incident was scaled back to 64 units. Shortly after the assignment was made available.
