On Wednesday, Station 64 was dispatched to assist Montco 69 on a miscellaneous detail in the 400 block of Keystone Boulevard. Chief 64, Deputy 64, Utility 64, and ATV 64 made the response. ATV 64 was utilized to extract a patient deep in the woods. 64 and 69 units worked together to clear a path to the patient and remove them from the woods. Multiple trees had to be cut down to gain access to the patient. Once the patient was removed from the woods, they were handed over to EMS for transport. Crews operated on scene for approximately 45 minutes before returning available. A crew of 3 firefighters remained back in station to cover the township. This was Station 64’s 4th emergency response for the day.
