Tonight, 16 Norco Fire Co. members attended Monday night training. Crews spent the evening reviewing vehicle rescue operations in preparation for our vehicle rescue technician class being held at our station starting in early June. Vehicle stabilization, door pop, door removal, and windshield removal were all part of the evening’s itinerary. While conducting training, station 64 was dispatched to a reported brush fire in the 1500 block of Sheffield Lane. Chief 64, Deputy 64, Rescue 64, Engine 64-2, & Engine 64-5 made the response immediately after dispatch and cleared the scene shortly after arriving due to no fire services being needed. All units returned to the station and finished up training for the evening.
