Last night, 16 members attended Monday night training. Crews traveled to Ridge Fire Company to train on their acquired structure. Training for the evening consisted of the first arriving unit on a reported fire alarm with smoke showing upon arrival. Our members practiced multiple skill sets such as scene size-up, deployment of hand-lines, throwing ladders, search and rescue, and downed firefighter removal. A fog machine was utilized to create a zero visibility environment to make the scenario as real as possible for our members.
