Fire Company Events Held Throughout the Year
The Fire Company is primarily funded by donations and fundraisers each year. These events help pay the day to day expenses of running a volunteer fire company and help purchase the equipment and supplies to provide the best response possible for every type of emergency call.
Learn more about these fundraising events below. Check our website and social media outlets for upcoming events.
Volunteers are always needed, please contact us if you are interested in helping out.

Norco Annual Fair
WHEN: Dates to be announced
The Fire Company has held an annual fair dating back to the 1950s and was only canceled one time due to COVID-19 in 2020. It is the highest-grossing revenue builder for the company each year. For six nights, the fair has rides, games, bingo, seafood, pizza, and more.
It takes dozens of volunteers to make sure the thousands who attend have a safe and fun time. Wristbands are now available every night so kids can ride as many times as possible all night long.
The highlight of the week is the fireworks show, held on either Friday or Saturday night. Check the schedule for the week of the fair. The 2023 fair is scheduled for July 3rd thru July 8th. Check back for times and a full schedule of nightly events.
WHEN: Scheduled throughout the year
The company holds chicken barbecues from time to time, usually at least once or twice a year. The meals are prepared by the company and served in the firehouse or can be taken to go. The event start times will be announced prior to the event and remains open until all the food is gone. Check our website and social media sites for more info as the events approach.
WHEN: DECEMBER (annually)
Each year the company makes itself available to drive this jolly fellow around the Township to spread holiday cheer just days before the big event. This tradition has been ongoing for many years and a favorite of Township residents.
Check our website and social media sites in December for the date. Santa usually leaves the firehouse around 9am and spends most of the day greeting kids of all ages. 🙂
Fire Prevention Week- Truck Show
WHEN: FIRE PREVENTION WEEK (annually in October)
Each year during Fire Prevention Week, the Norco Fire Company holds several events including an open house at the firehouse and school visits to spread awareness about fire prevention. The week is highlighted by a large Fire Truck Display Show, hosted by the Company at the Coventry Mall.
This event includes fire companies from all over the area who display their trucks and equipment and share info about their companies and fire prevention.
The event is FREE and all are welcome to attend. Its a spectacular display of emergency equipment and a great way to meet our emergency responders.
